New! Preschool Skateboard Camp (Ages 4-5)

Sign up your future super skateboarder in our morning preschool skateboarding classes! Our experienced coaching staff teach kids the right way to get started along with the basics of the sport in a fun and controlled environment. Before you know it, your super skater will be riding like a pro! This program is open to boys and girls of all abilities. All participants must have a skateboard and helmet. Elbow and knee pads are optional, but recommended.

Campers that are 5 years-old can enjoy a full day of fun by joining Breckenridge Mountain Camp for the afternoon.  Click here for more information on half-day BMC.  Campers may also attend BMC Wednesday field trips.

New! Level 1 Skateboard Camp (Ages 6-14)

Level 1 Skateboard Camp is a brand new program offered at the Breckenridge Skate Park. Our exceptional instructors work with novice and beginner skateboarders to show them how to ride the bowls and shred the street. Level 1 Skateboard Camp is focused on the basics of skateboarding. This weeklong half day camp is designed to get your child ready to safely shred the skate park.

Camps are open to boys and girls of all abilities. All participants must have a skateboard and helmet. Elbow and knee pads are optional, but recommended. Please complete the online waiver for this program prior to your session. Need equipment? Limited skateboard, helmet and pad packages are available for $22 for the week.

Campers up to age 12 can enjoy a full day of fun by joining Breckenridge Mountain Camp for the afternoon. Click here for more information on half-day. Campers may also attend the BMC field trip on Wednesday.

New! Level 2 Skateboard Camp (Ages 6-14)

Level 2 Skateboard Camp is a brand new program offered at the Breckenridge Skate Park. Skaters are required to have at least one summer of skateboarding experience before enrolling in this camp. Skaters should be able to drop into quarter pipes, grind boxes, and ride the pools. If your skater is unable to meet these skill requirements check out our Level 1 Skateboard Camp!

Our exceptional instructors work with skateboarders to help them advance their already present skateboard skills and increase their knowledge of the tricks of the trade. Level 2 Skateboard Camp is focused on building off of your child's already present skateboard knowledge. This weeklong half day camp is designed to hone your child's ability to safely throw old and new tricks in the skate park.

Afterschool Skateboarding (Ages 6-13)

Has your child been riding the skate park all summer and still can’t get enough? Let our coaching staff teach her/him the skills to keep improving on their board. All children are required to wear a helmet and bring their own skateboard. We are offering three different sessions throughout the month of September on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays (please register for the session -- no drop-ins allowed). Skateboards are not allowed on the school bus - please drop off your child’s skateboard and equipment at the Rec Center.

Private and Custom Group Skateboarding Lessons 

Are you already a good boarder but looking to get even better? Do you keep working on that special trick but can’t seem to get it right? Do you prefer a one-on-one learning environment? Then check out our private skateboard lessons! Our quality instructors will have you riding your best in no time. The fee is $45 per hour for one person. Each additional person is an extra $5 with a maximum of 4 people per lesson. Call the Outdoor Programs Coordinator at (970) 547-4324 for scheduling.
