In an effort to provide all Breckenridge residents and workers access to our programs, individuals may apply for financial support to cover part or the majority of a program fee or facility pass. All submitted applications are reviewed based on the expressed need of the individual applicant.

Financial support is awarded on a yearly basis based on when application was submitted. The committee reviews each application and if approved, applicant may receive up to 75 percent off BMC youth programs, and up to 50 percent off all other specialty youth programs, adult programs, and/or memberships. Applications must be completed every year with updated information.

Financial support is available for:

• Recreation Center youth punch passes and monthly passes
• Recreation Center adult punch passes and monthly passes (also provides access to nearly all group fitness classes)
• Youth recreation programs, such as summer camps, afterschool programs, no-school mini camps, swimming lessons, etc.
• Select adult recreation programs
• Ice Arena punch passes and select programs
• Select Gold Run Nordic Center programs and passes
  Programs are subject to availability; some programs are not eligible for financial support.

How to Apply:

• Download an application (Download an application in Spanish) or pick up an application at the Breckenridge Recreation Center, Stephen C. West Ice Arena, Gold Run Nordic Center or your local school.
• Complete application and attach income and residence verification.
• Turn in application to the Breckenridge Recreation Center or Stephen C. West Ice Arena at least 15 days prior to the program's start date. The Financial Support Committee meets on the 15th of each month.
• Applications are confidentially reviewed and aid is awarded each year.
• Applicants are notified of status within 30 days of application date.
• Once awarded financial support, you will be contacted via email and you may register online, in person or by phone with the Front Desk at the Recreation Center.
• Applicants need to sign a code of ethics before registering for a program or purchasing a pass.
• Applicants are required to reapply for each year support is needed with updated information.
