You thought you had fun last summer? Well, this summer is shaping up to be even bigger and better! Spend the summer swimming, climbing, hiking and jumping on our giant inflatable obstacle course! The Breckenridge Mountain Camp (BMC) is not just your typical summer day camp program. We have the best staff in all of Summit County, delivering some of the most enjoyable and exhilarating programs around! BMC offers a fun and positive experience that enriches and satisfies your child all day long with a focus on building character through recreation. Programs are based on skill development, guided discovery and amazing activities that foster healthy, outdoor fun. BMC is a state licensed program for children ages 5-12 and children are placed into groups according to their age. BMC will be offered on

2019 Summer Camp Forms

NEW FOR 2019! Camper paperwork will be entered and stored using the ePACT system. Once you register for Breckenridge Mountain Camp, you'll receive an email invite from ePACT to share information with Breckenridge Recreation Department. Click "Complete Request" to create a free account, or log-in if you already have an existing ePACT account. Enter the required information, like immunizations, medical conditions, etc. and share it with Breckenridge Recreation Department.

Please remember for your child to attend the first day of camp, these forms must be complete!

Wednesdays are our designated field trip day, so register early!!

Dates: June 7-August 22 (regular camp but NO field trip Wednesday, July 3. No camp Thursday, July 4)

   BMC Membership - $10

   Breckenridge Resident - $46; Non-Resident - $50

NEW! Summit Explorers - Wednesday field trip alternative (Ages 5-12)

Looking to stay local during the Breckenridge Mountain Camp field trips? Now the Breckenridge Recreation Center has a local program for those hard-to-fill Wednesdays! With Summit Explorers, campers explore multiple activities throughout Summit County. Imagine seeing every playground in Summit, or bowling at the Lakeside alleys, even a picnic at the Marina. Expect an activity packed day of swimming, climbing, hiking or jumping on our giant inflatable obstacle course! We have the best staff in all of Summit County, delivering some of the most enjoyable and exhilarating programs around! Adventure awaits so don't forget to reserve your spot as soon as possible. No Explorers on July 3.

Half-Day Breckenridge Mountain Camp

Make it a full day of fun! BMC offers a discounted afternoon half-day option for campers in our morning preschool and sports camps. Please contact Terrin Abell via email or at (970) 547-4333 for information and registration.

BMC Counselor in Training (CIT) Program (Ages 13-16)

The CIT program is for motivated teens who want an active, fun summer but also want to learn responsibility! CITs learn camp programming, planning, decision-making, goal setting, communication, and team building! Each CIT is paired up with a camp counselor from whom they can learn, and then s/he has the opportunity to transfer the tools they learn into actual work groups. Please review the CIT Program Overview for complete program information.

CITS are not required to attend each day but are highly encouraged to do so. Community service is available to those interested. Please complete the application and return it to Terrin Abell via email or in person at the Rec Center Front Desk. For questions please contact Terrin at (970) 547-4333.

2019 BMC Weekly Themes

June 10 - Sports Exravaganza
We’re kicking off the summer with as many sports as we can pack into 5 days. Kickball, wiffle ball, swimming, soccer, basketball, badminton and more! Bring your sneakers, sweat band and a water bottle because we will be moving all week!

June 17 - Off to the Circus
Ever wanted to run away and join the circus? Well this week you can! Come learn how to walk the tight rope, tame a wild tiger and meet the bearded lady.

June 24 - Mad Scientists
Are you Dr. Jekyll or Mr. Hyde? Come find out as we play with slime, make volcanoes and have a camp egg drop contest.

July 1 - Stars and Stripes
Let’s celebrate our great nation as we kick off the week with 4th of July celebrations! We enjoy patriotic games, crafts and celebrating all week! Remember -- regular camp but NO field trip Wednesday, July 3. No camp Thursday, July 4

July 8 - Under the Sea
Ready to dive in? This week we plunge beneath the surface of the sea on an adventure under the sea. Come join the Breckenridge Mountain Campers as we search for fish in the Blue River and head down to Denver for a trip to the Denver Aquarium.

July 15 - Super Kids!
Batman, Wonder Woman, Superman, and Aquaman have nothing on the kids here at Breckenridge Mountain Camp. Come put your hero skills the test as we fly through another fantastic week of camp.

July 22 - Survivor
Ever wanted to know how to survive in the wilderness? This week we will learn first aid, how to build a shelter and leave no trace skills.

July 29 - Wacky Water
Water, water everywhere and you’re going to get wet! Join us as we spend some time on the shores of Lake Dillon, playing in the pool and cooling off from the July heat.

August 5 - Around the World
How many countries can we get to in 5 days? Come join us and find out as we fly through activities that you will find all over the world.

August 12 - Movin' and Groovin'
Just because it’s the last week of camp doesn’t mean the fun has to end. This week we make the most out of every day as we pack in as many activities and games as we can to end the summer in style.
