Do you or your family need a little extra help learning to swim or improving your skills? If group lessons don’t quite fit your needs, private swim lessons offer individualized instruction tailored to each swimmer’s goals, age, and ability level.
We also offer semi-private swim lessons, which are a great option for friends or family members who want to learn together. Semi-private lessons allow up to 3 swimmers of similar skill levels to work with an instructor in a fun and comfortable environment while still receiving personalized attention.
Please note:
Private and semi-private swim lessons are available for swimmers ages 3 and older. Families with children under 3 should register for our Adult & Child Swim Lessons (see tile below).

We receive a high volume of lesson requests and have a limited number of instructors available. To improve your chances of being scheduled with an instructor, we recommend submitting your request approximately 2 weeks before your desired lesson start date. If you have not received a response after 2 weeks, please contact the Pool Office at 970-453-1734 during rec center hours.
