We're excited to introduce Kaizen, our new program registration system, launching July 1! This upgrade makes signing up for Breckenridge Recreation programs easier moving forward, but there are a few important steps you'll need to complete before Fall Afterschool Program registration opens.

1. Create Your Kaizen Account

2. Complete Pre-Registration Paperwork
Once your account is set up, you must complete the Pre-Registration Form in Kaizen. You will need the state of Colorado immunization form.  This step is required for every family — you will not be able to register for any programs until it's done. 

3. Reapply for Financial Support (if applicable)
If your family currently receives a Financial Support Scholarship, you'll need to reapply through Kaizen. Previous scholarship approvals do not carry over to Kaizen. Financial Support Documentation

4. Pay Any Outstanding Balances
Any balances still owed must be paid in ACTIVE before your family can register in Kaizen. Accounts with outstanding balances will not be able to complete registration.

Registration for 2026-2027 Afterschool Programs opens August 4 at 12:00pm.

Because pre-registration paperwork must be completed before this date, we strongly encourage you to set up your Kaizen account and finish these steps as soon as possible. Spots fill quickly, and families who haven't completed pre-registration will not be able to register on time.

We are transitioning to Kaizen, our new recreation software platform. Below is the timeline for the transition from ActiveNet to Kaizen.

Please note: the changes below apply only to the Breckenridge Recreation Center and Breckenridge Tennis Center.

Beginning June 1, 2026: The first phase of the new system launches, including:

• Membership purchases at the Recreation Center.
• Pro-shop purchases at the Recreation Center.
• Pre-registration packets for youth programs.
  • Pre-registration will be required for all youth participants registering for all afterschool programs (BMC, Climbing, Tennis, Sports, TKD and specialty programs), Mini Camps, and summer camps.
  • Registration for fall youth programs will not be permitted without a    completed pre-registration packet.
• Registration for financial support
  • This process will be streamlined within the new software system to help staff efficiently collect the information needed to provide support. If you currently have received financial support for the 2026 year, you will need to    reapply for all 2026 fall programming needs.
• 2027 Carter Park reservations

Beginning August 4, 2026: The second phase of the new system launches, including:

• Fall registration for youth programs (pre-registration required)
• Fall registration for adult programs
• Tennis afterschool program registration

Beginning October 1, 2026: The third phase of the new system launches, including:

• Online Tennis court reservations

If you do not have a membership, the first step is to setup your new account.

Creating your Kaizen Account

After you have created your account, you will need to add your household members so they can purchase memberships, passes, and programs to attach to their accounts. You must create your account first, before you can add your household members.

Next, you have the option to add a payment method to your account. This will make things seamless for program registration, purchasing items at the front desk or the tennis pro shop, and purchasing memberships.
