SHOWTIME (Ages 10-17)

The weekly SHOWTIME class focuses on learning and practicing a choreographed group number for the Winter Ice Show, held Saturday, June 1. More group numbers are now being included in our bi-annual ice skating shows to take them beyond the exhibition level. Skaters perform with other skaters of similar skating levels, so the group skating routines are a great way to meet other skaters and to have fun! All soloists need to participate in a choreographed group routine in order to skate a solo in the show.

Skaters enrolling in SHOWTIME should have basic skating skills and either be participating in group classes or taking private lessons to continue to improve their skating skills. Skaters are expected to attend all class dates, as it is very important to have all group members present while choreography is learned and practiced. In addition, skaters are required to attend the show dress rehearsal held Friday, May 31.
