Adult Hockey Clinic

Breck Betties Women's Summer Hockey League (Ages 18 & Up)

Are you always at the rink watching your son, daughter, husband, boyfriend or friends play hockey? Do you wish that you had a league of your own to learn how to play the game yourself? Come join our Breck Betties Hockey League! This league has one coached practice, nine games and two play-off/championship games. Players must be 18 or older and all levels of players are welcome to join this exciting league. Full gear is required and may be rented or purchased at the Ice Arena's full-service Pro Shop.

The last day to register is Wednesday, May 29.
Practice is held Wednesday, May 29 from 6:00-7:30pm. Teams will be formed using a blind draft method based on player ability rating. Games begin June 6 with time slots at 6:00pm and 7:10 on Wednesdays. Teams are capped at 12 players per team on 4 teams. First come, first served.

Summer Adult Hockey Leagues (Ages 18 & Up)

A deposit of at least $1,000 must be paid at registration. Balances are due Sunday, July 14.  All game times and days are subject to change.

Summer Open League

This is the Stephen C. West Ice Arena's most competitive summer league division with many former college, junior hockey and high school hockey players. Players in this division typically play in the fall and winter "A" and "B" Leagues. Games are played on mostly Wednesday evenings. This is a non-checking league. Players must understand the rules of the game and the action is fast-paced.

The Open League season consists of 10 regular season games. The top (4) four teams advance to a single elimination playoffs followed by one championship game. Playoff and championship games are held the week of August 15.  This is a draft system and each player pays as an individual. Only paid players from other teams are allowed to substitute. There will be a drop in skate for Open League players on May 29, with a draft on May 30. The last day to register is Wednesday, May 22 or until full.

Summer C League

The C League is designed to give one more competitive level to the recreational leagues and should comprise the strongest recreation level teams. There is no gender requirement and slap shots are allowed.  Higher level players are expected to play down to this level in order to be allowed to participate. This is a non-checking league.

The season consists of 10 regular season games and the top four (4) teams advance to single elimination playoffs followed by one championship game. Regular season games are played on Tuesday nights, with a possible off night game should an odd number of teams register for the league. The league maximum is eight (8) teams. The last day to register is Tuesday, May 21 or until full.

Summer D League

The D League plays primarily on Monday evenings but additional days may be scheduled as needed. (based on league registration). This league is designed for upper level recreational skaters. One female must be on at the ice at all times (not including goalie). Red line icing is used and slapshots are NO LONGER allowed effective this season.

The season consists of 10 regular season games. This top four (4) teams advance to a single elimination championship. Playoff games are held the week of August 14 and the championship game is held the week of August 21. The league maximum is ten (10) teams. The last day to register is Sunday, May 27 or until full.

Summer E League

The E League is a coed league for the novice player wanting to enjoy the recreational experience of ice hockey. This is a non-checking league and slap shots are NOT allowed.

The regular season consists of 10 regular season games and the top four (4) teams advance to single elimination playoffs followed by one championship game. Regular season games are held on Thursdays. Playoffs are held the week of August 16 with the championship game held the week of August 23. A maximum of 10 teams may register for this league. The last day to register is Thursday, May 23 or until full.
