River Park Grand Opening Wednesday, August 7, 3:00pm

Breckenridge offers playgrounds throughout the town, each easily accessible from residential, lodging and recreational locations. Breckenridge playgrounds have unique offerings and themes, with elements suitable for kids of all ages.

Phase 1 is now complete! River Park is an artfully designed and constructed environment for children ages 5-12 to experience river systems, forests, and the rich history of the area while at play. River Park received the Colorado Lottery's 2019 Starburst Award for excellence in the use of funds for a community project.

  • Extended seasonal restrooms, water fountain and water bottle filling station
