Adult Hockey Clinics (Ages 18 & up)

If you are a beginner with a goal to play in the Fall Adult Leagues, this is the class for you! Instruction focuses on the basic skills of hockey: skating, stick-handling, positioning, breakouts and passing. Equipment required: Helmet, skates and sticks, which are provided by the rink if needed. Full hockey equipment is highly recommended. Must be 18 or older to participate.

Breck Betties Women's Fall Hockey League (Ages 18 & Up)

Are you always at the rink watching your son, daughter, husband, boyfriend or friends play hockey? Do you wish that you had a league of your own to learn how to play the game yourself? Come join our Breck Betties Hockey League!

This league has one coached practice, nine games and two play-off/championship games. Players must be 18 or older and all levels of players are welcome to join this exciting league. Full gear is required and may be rented or purchased at the Ice Arena's full-service Pro Shop.

The last day to register is Sunday, September 10. The coached practice is Sunday, September 17 from 3:45-5:15pm. NOTE: All game times and days are subject to change. Games begin on September 24 and are scheduled Sundays at 3:45pm and 4:55pm.

Fall Adult Hockey Leagues (Ages 18 & Up)

Fall Adult Hockey A League

The A League is a competitive division with many former college, junior hockey and high school hockey players. This is a non-checking league. Players must understand the rules of the game and the action is fast-paced. This is the highest level of play available at the Stephen C. West Ice Arena. Challenges for eligibility based on playing ability will not be entertained. The maximum number of teams in this league is 6. The season consists of 12 regular season games with the top four teams advancing to single elimination playoffs followed by a best of 3 game championship series. The A League plays three, 15-minute periods. Regular season games take place Wednesdays September 20 - December 6 and playoffs are December 13. The championship games are held the week of December 17.. NOTE: All game times and days are subject to change.

Fall Adult Hockey B League

The B League is the lower competitive division with many former high school and college club players. This is a non-checking league. The season consists of 12 regular season games with the top four teams advancing to single elimination playoffs followed by a best of 3 championship game series. The maximum number of teams in this league is 6. Regular season games will be held Sundays, September 10 - December 3 and playoff games are held December 10. Championship games are held the week of December 13. NOTE: All game times and days are subject to change.

Fall Adult Hockey C League

The C League is designed to give one more competitive level to the recreational leagues and should comprise the strongest recreation level teams. The league has no gender requirement and slap shots are allowed. Higher level players are expected to play down to this level in order to be allowed to participate. The maximum number of teams in this league is 6. This is a non-checking league. Two officials are used for each game. The season consists of 12 regular season games with the top four teams advancing to single elimination playoffs. League play is on Tuesday nights beginning September. Regular season games take place September 12-December 5, and playoffs are held December 5. Championship games are held the week of December 12. NOTE: All game times and days are subject to change.

Fall Adult Hockey D League

The D league is designed for players and teams who have excelled in the E League and are looking for a bigger challenge, but may not be quite ready to join in the C League. This is the most competitive co-ed league that the rink offers. One female must be on at the ice at all times (not including goalie). Red line icing is used and slapshots are not allowed. This is a non-checking league. Two officials are used for each game. Games are played on the indoor and outdoor ice rink. The season consists of 12 regular season games and the top four teams advance to single elimination playoffs, followed by a best of 3 game championship. A maximum of 10 teams can play in this league (first come, first served). Fall D League regular season games play on Monday, September 11. Note: The outdoor rink opens on September 9. Regular season games are held September 11-November 27, playoffs are held December 4 and championship games are held the week of December 11. NOTE: All game times and days are subject to change.

Fall Adult Hockey E League

The E League is a coed league for the novice or recreational player that wants to enjoy a leisurely experience of ice hockey. This is a non-checking league and slap shots are NOT allowed. Two officials are used for each game. The season consists of 12 regular season games with the top four teams advancing to single elimination playoffs followed by the best of three game championship. Games are played on the indoor and outdoor ice rinks. The maximum number of teams in this league is 8. League play is on Thursday nights beginning September 7. Regular season games run September 7 - November 30, with playoffs taking place December 7 and championship games to be held the week of December 14. NOTE: All game times and days are subject to change.
