Junior Hockey Returns to Breckenridge!
Have you been itchin’ to see a good hockey game, but haven’t been able to make it down to Denver to see a college or NHL game? You can now see the next best thing right here in Breckenridge with the Rocky Mountain Junior Hockey League (RMJHL).
The RMJHL consists of six Colorado teams, including our home team, the Breckenridge Bolts, along with the Aspen Leafs, Colorado Rampage (Monument), Colorado Thunderbirds (Littleton), Pikes Peak Miners (Colorado Springs) and Steamboat Wranglers (Steamboat Springs). The junior league classification is for players 20 and under, with most players recently out of high school and hoping to be recruited by higher level Junior or college teams. To stay on top of all that is happening with the Bolts, visit the Bolts web page..
All RMJHL member teams are directly affiliated with local youth hockey associations sanctioned by USA Hockey. With this partnership with Summit Youth Hockey, all SYH players get free admission to Bolts home game when wearing their jersey!
Games are played at the Stephen C. West Ice Arena from October through February, typically on Friday and Saturday nights.
