CATCH (Ages 5-12)

The Town of Breckenridge, in partnership with the Keystone Science School, Family Intercultural Resources Center (FIRC), Summit County Youth and Family Services, Summit School District and the Summit Foundation, is pleased to offer CATCH Afterschool Kids Club (CKC) at the Breckenridge Recreation Center.

CATCH stands for "Coordinated Approach to Child Health". This afterschool program is designed to promote healthy physical activity and eating behaviors in children. It aims to equip children with the knowledge and skills to make healthy decisions, all while having fun!  Each day a healthy snack is served and the children participate in a nutrition lesson followed by various exercises and non-elimination games.

CATCH at the Breckenridge Recreation Center is available to students who attend Breckenridge Elementary and Upper Blue Elementary.  Free transportation is provided to the Breckenridge Recreation Center chaperoned by CATCH staff.

All children must have a completed Application Packet (Aplicación en español por CATCH) to register. If your child was enrolled in Session 1 or 2, or was on the wait list, please fill out the Short Form Application (Forma corta aplicación en español por CATCH).  Hard copies of the applications are available at Breckenridge Elementary, Upper Blue Elementary or the Breckenridge Recreation Center.  Applications may be turned into your child’s school or the Recreation Center. Please call Abbey Austin, Youth Programs Coordinator, at 970-547-4333 for more information.
