2017 Breck Ascent FAQs
Take on a different kind of challenge this winter with the 8th Annual Breckenridge Ascent Series, presented by Breckenridge Ski Resort and the Breckenridge Recreation Department. Join us for two early morning and three evening Ski Mountaineering events . All races start at the bottom of each race's respective base with a timing crew at each event to record racer results. Each racer has the option of participating in a long course (includes ascents & descents) or short course (ascent only). Race divisions are broken into lightweight and heavyweight setups with a breakdown in age/gender groups. Use any means to get up the mountain whether it be snowshoes, nordic skis, telemark or AT setups. However, skis or a snowboard are required to come back down from the finish line!
Save 25% by pre-registering for the series! A Waiver Packet must be completed BEFORE participating in races.
